Magazine for Christian Teenage Guys
www.breakawaymag.com
Since 1990, Breakaway magazine has been encouraging teen guys to break away from the pressures of the world around them and to get real in a relationship with Jesus. As our theme verse says, "Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God?s will is - his good, pleasing and perfect will" (Romans 12:2). Breakaway is a magazine of Focus on the Family, and it's all about teen guys. If you're into it, we'll write about it. Enjoy our stories about sports, adventure, music, girls, faith, technology, and much more. And connect with fellow teens who care about making a difference for Christ in their world. BREAKAWAY: LIFE. GOD. TRUTH::FOR GUYS

Casting Crowns
www.castingcrowns.com
What is the distance between Sunday and Monday mornings? The answer, for Casting Crowns' Mark Hall, became painfully clear during an afternoon of reading through the MySpace pages of the kids in his youth group. Prompted to go there by a student, Mark's heart sank as he read their messages to the world, truths about themselves that didn't gel with the truth they embraced at church. It was in that place of disheartened discovery where The Altar and The Door -- the third studio project from GRAMMY-winning band Casting Crowns -- began to unfold.

Pillar
www.pillarmusic.com
Well 2008 is a thing of the past. Pillar has put behind us yet another amazing year. We saw 4 top 5 singles surface off of our "For the Love of the Game" album. "Turn it Up" went number one marking our tenth number one single of our career on the rock charts. As well as marking our 15th top 5 single. We were the most played artist on christian rock radio for 2008 and we started off the year by attending the Grammy award early in the year. Now reading through all that i realize that the statistics are cool but this is the one memory that stands out for me.

Switchfoot
www.switchfoot.com
"We've always used music as a vehicle to explore our own questions and frustrations," says Switchfoot singer/songwriter/guitarist Jon Foreman of the band's new album, Oh! Gravity. Oh! Gravity. is Switchfoot's sixth studio album, their third for Columbia Records. After 2003's double-platinum selling, The Beautiful Letdown, and another two gold selling albums, Nothing Is Sound and Learning To Breathe, Foreman sums it all up by saying, "I'm in therapy and I write songs. It's all an attempt to try to come to terms with reality."
